Samsung.com and the Shop App provide a variety of promotions you can take advantage of. Below is a quick breakdown of the promotion types and the general guidance for making sure you’re getting the most out of them.
Instant Rebate / Discount – These are the most common type of promotion available and they’re usually applied automatically when eligible items are added to your cart. The discount will be shown as applied in the cart.
Buy X, Get Y – Earn a free product, or eCertificate, when you purchase a specific product. For these, you’ll want to read the terms and conditions carefully to determine if you need to add the promotional products to your cart, or if they’ll be included automatically.
Trade-in Instant Discount – Receive an instant discount that’s applied to your order by trading in your old device. Full details here.
Redeeming a Promotional Coupon or Credit – If you have a multi-digit promotional credit or coupon, simply add the products you’re interested in purchasing to your cart and proceed through checkout. During the checkout process, you’ll have the opportunity to enter the code. The promotion will applied and reflected on the final page in the checkout process.
Activating a Free Trial for a Subscription Service – If your order included a free trial of a subscription service, such as YouTube Premium, Spotify, Sirius XM, One Drive, etc., instructions for how to activate the service can be found on your My Orders page, beneath the title of the service. Note that for most of these services, you will need to create a new account to redeem the free trial promotion and the instructions must be followed on the device that the promotion applied to.
