How to request a return and print a label
Updated
If you need to return something purchased and shipped from Samsung.com, the process is easy:
Confirm your order is within the return window
Set up a return with the Order Support team
Get your return label
Prepare your return
Ship your order back (if it's something small, like a smartphone) or schedule a return pickup (if it's something large, like a TV)
For orders placed on Samsung.com, but picked up at a retail partner, visit our Returns & Refunds section and select the return policy for the store you picked up from. These returns can’t be processed or initiated online; they have to be returned to the same retailer they were picked up from, but not necessarily the same location.
Steps to Return a Samsung.com Order
Confirm your order is within the return window
Return windows can’t be extended. You can find troubleshooting steps and product support here.
For orders placed using a Samsung Account:
Go to the My Orders page.
Enter the Order ID and follow the steps.
For orders placed as a guest:
Go to the Search Orders page.
Enter the Order ID and follow the steps.
If a product is eligible to be returned, you'll see "Return eligible through" followed by a date beneath the tracking status of the product.
Products that are not eligible to be returned will display "Return window closed on" followed by a date.
Set up a return with the Order Support team
If your order’s eligible, visit the Contact Us page to speak with a member of the Order Support team about returning the product.
Remember: Return windows can’t be extended.
Get your return label
Return mailing labels are sent via email after your return request is approved by the Order Support team.
You can also find your return label on your My Orders page or by viewing your order again as a guest.
A return label is different than a trade-in shipping label. See How do I trade in my device? for information on trade-ins and trade-in shipping labels.
Prepare your return
Print and attach the return mailing label to the outside of the package.
Include any bundled products or promotional products for a full refund.
Remove personal accounts and factory reset the device(s), especially for mobile phones and tablets.
Ship your order back or schedule a return pickup
For small items, seal the package securely and bring it to the carrier named on the return mailing label by the return due date.
For large items, package the item in its original packaging (if possible) and use the number provided on the Return Mailing Label to schedule a pick up.
Return Timing
After your return request is accepted, you'll have an additional 15 days to ship the return or have it picked up by a carrier.
After your return is delivered to our warehouse, it can take up to 10 business days to review it and initiate a refund.
If your return isn't accepted, you'll receive an email with additional details.
You can see your return status on the My Orders page.
Refund Timing
Once your returned item has been received and approved for refund, and your refund request has been accepted, Samsung will return the funds to your original payment method.
Financial institutions may then take an additional 2-5 business days to process the initiated refund before it appears in your account.
Your refund will be less any applicable restocking fees.
